Service Request

SHIP-IN: Fill out a Service Request Form and include it with your equipment when you ship it.  It is always best to contact us before sending in equipment to be sure that we can calibrate and/or repair the item.  Our standard turn-around time for calibration is 7 to 10 business days.  Repair times will differ depending on complexity of problem, availability of parts and shipping time of parts.

ON-SITE: If you would like to receive a quote and/or schedule a visit to your facility please fax or email us a list of equipment needing calibration along with a date for service.  In order to make sure we can calibrate your equipment and be fully prepared, it is important for us to have a complete list with manufacturer and model numbers. Some minor repairs can be performed on-site depending on time available and complexity of repair.  Major repairs will have to be brought back to our lab for evaluation.

Types of Service

STANDARD CALIBRATION: Standard calibration comes with a calibration certificate and no data.  The certificate states the unit is traceable to NIST or other national laboratory.  This is what most customers ask for and are the majority of the calibrations we perform.

STANDARD CAL WITH DATA: This option is the standard calibration as above with before and after data taken.   Not available on all units and additional charges apply.

ACCREDITED CALIBRATION: For customers who need an ISO/IEC17025:2005 Accredited Calibration that is also ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 compliant.  This option includes before and after data with measurement uncertainties.  Additional charges apply.

REPAIR: We can repair most items we calibrate. We are limited by availability of parts and information/support from the manufacturer in terms of schematics and documentation.  We will make a best effort on all units.  There are no evaluation fees and if we cannot fix it, there is no repair charge.  We cannot repair most surface mounted component boards that are in some newer units
