Calibration Technician
Onsite Calibration Service, Inc. has a job opportunity for Calibration Technicians. We are looking for motivated people to provide service solutions to customers. Calibration technicians perform routine and complex work involved in the calibration and repair of test equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Preform calibration and basic repair of test equipment.
- Preforming calibration services in timely manner, as assigned.
- Entering and completing documentation accurately to support customer requirements.
- Enter information into electronic database and complete work orders.
- Apply acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
- Preforms work at customer location as well as in the lab.
- Follow calibration procedures and read schematics with limited supervision.
Requirements include:
- 3-4 years of related experience
- Military Metrology/Calibration (PMEL/TMDA) training is preferred.
- Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel.
- Relocation to Louisville, KY
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on assignments that are semi routine and be able to recognize the need to perform calibration by alternate, acceptable methods.
- Ability to travel as needed for personal skill development and training, as well as, to fully support customer calibration requirements.
- Able to lift and move 75 pounds unassisted.
- Must meet requirements to drive a company vehicle, valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
